An alumnus to Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew in her teens. She has performed on stage as well as at schools. She attended The University of Southern California and relocated in Los Angeles where she played Belle the beautiful and Beast Princess at Disneyland for a period of about a year and half. After dropping out of school in the spring of 2008, she started looking for a talent agency, and trying out for work in television and film. Butler was the guest on the TV series CSI: Miami, CSI: NY. The remake was a remake in 1978 of the cult classic of the same name. While initially dissuaded by the film's nudity and violence the strong character development and feminist inclination helped convince she to accept the role.Butler starred as Jennifer Hills a novelist who was brutally gang-raped when staying at a cabin in the woods. She then seeks revenge on her rapists. Steven R. Monroe directed the film which was released on the 8th of October, 2010. Butler began shooting The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller starring Estella Warr and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November of 2011. The film was also scheduled to film at Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the independent feature Treachery starring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012.
